Despite Rumors--I Am Alive!

And crawling out of my writing cave. Back in January 2015, I began writing Celtic Thorn (and its follow-ups Celtic Shadow and Celtic Fire) and a year later thought I had a finished product. I sent it out to all my Kickstarter supporters and I am sure they received it with ecstatic happiness...or not. I went to my first writer's conference where I discovered that my efforts left a lot to be desired and engendered the faint possibility that perhaps my readers' happiness was less than imagined. That and the many emails I received with congratulations, compliments, and suggestions (many, many suggestions) for improvement.

So...after three writers' conferences (Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers' Colorado Gold conference--why them? It's a long story) and three years of rewrites, I believe the story is told considerably better--edited, tightened, lots of non-essential material eliminated--and is ready to be released in its second edition. If I remember correctly, I came up for air once during that time, to assure you all was well and progressing. With my second breath, I shout to the mountain-tops, "It is here!" ("Here" means Amazon.)

For those of you Kickstarter supporters still waiting for the final reward (no...not THAT final reward) I will be announcing a meeting place where, I am certain, there will be tacos. And signed copies (I know, but someday that signature may be valuable) of the new version...all free! If you have suggestions for a time and place to meet, go to my website (below) and send me an e-mail.

For all others, you too are welcome to send me an e-mail. Comment on the books, critique the books, buy the books (in the Store). It's usually best to read the books before critiquing them, but not required.

Fair warning: The e-mail will put you on my blog mailing list (Don't want that? Well...why? Fine. I won't cry. But I will pout. Just say so in the body of the email.)

Thanks!

Bill
